Lotus sculptures formed from clay by the Argentinian artist Patricia Yossen. The lotus pods may be filled with bird seed and placed in the garden. These feeders will stand up to outdoor elements and become even more beautiful with time. We also love them placed on a bookshelf indoors as objet d'art. Due to the handmade nature of this item, no two pieces are alike.
Patricia Yossen is a materials based artist who examines contemporary constructs of domesticity and professional life. Her work is influenced by her childhood in her quasi-mythic hometown in rural Argentina, where she was born and raised. After receiving her BFA in sculpture and art education she lived and worked in Mexico City for nearly a decade. She then went on to obtain an MFA in sculpture at Pratt Institute in New York. She currently lives and works in Los Angeles.
