Vintage Prayer Rug 3’4 x 5’

$3,000
Vintage prayer rug from the mid-20th century with an amazing design and color story. Prayer rugs are always woven small and this rug was most likely owned by one person who kept it with them when they traveled and went about their days. One end of the rug has a niche that represents the Mihrab of a mosque and is meant to be pointed towards Mecca when praying. Low wool pile scatter rug on a wool foundation.
