This elegant bentwood Classic is a masterpiece in its construction and features a beautifully upholstered oxblood leather seat cushion and back rest. The design is attributed to Michael Thonet, an Austrian cabinet maker known for his invention of bentwood furniture. Le Corbusier was fascinated with this style of chair and used it in many of his buildings. He confirmed that "... this chair has nobility."
