Late nineteenth century Blue Willow Pattern stone china platter from England. Blue Willow Pattern china was developed in England during the 19th century and is thought to have been inspired by a Japanese and Chinese fairy tales of two thwarted lovers. This pattern has a distinct set of features that include a pagoda structure, three figures on a bridge, a figure on a boat, two flying birds and, of course, a weeping willow tree. This 15” by 12” platter has some yellowing and cosmetic wear that is consistent with age and use.

International Shipments

All household and small fine art and vintage items are shipped internationally via UPS. Duties, taxes and UPS shipment costs are displayed at checkout. For international orders, please allow 48-72 hours to process before shipment.
