Join us for a Saturday morning watercolor painting workshop with our dear friend and California-based artist Liz Young.
This beginner-friendly class will embrace the intuitive, fluid, spontaneous elements of water and color. Participants will create wet-on-wet floral watercolor paintings using a variety of artistic approaches including washes, salt, wax, tape, color density and more.
This painting process is loose, free and playful — one where participants can embrace the unexpected beauty of chance while letting go of preconceived expectations as we explore dreamy impressions of Spring blooms.
Participants will leave the workshop with their own handpainted creations ready for gift-giving in a selection of red, black and gilded wood frames.
Finished, framed pieces measure 8" x 10"
